Le Jardin is a community unlike any other - one that could
never have been brought to life without the unique partnership of two
visionaries: Brian Jordan and Stephen Macauley.
Brian Jordan is an all-star athlete. Having previously played for both the
Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons, he is currently on his second tour as a
Brave. Passionate about his Brian Jordan Foundation, he began looking for
property on which to build "The Center for Excellence" to benefit disadvantaged
youth. Through this process, he discovered the land that would become Le
Jardin. Brian immediately recognized the beauty of the land and its potential.
At the urging of his wife Pam, whose father was in the real estate business,
Brian saw the potential of real estate development.
Stephen Macauley, and his company The
Macauley Companies, Inc., have developed more than 32 communities in
the Atlanta area since 1981. Stephen's development philosophy is dedicated to
creating communities that offer residents a rich and rewarding way of life
through social and recreational opportunities, a sense of security and privacy
and the preservation and enhancement of the natural beauty of the land with
outstanding architectural design.
The two men were ideally suited to work together - both envisioning a community
that combined the arts with gardens, diversity and design. In short, they
envisioned Le Jardin. Thus, the BOJ-Macauley partnership was born.
